My brother claims this stuff is to his liking, but since I think this is a terrible mistake on Starbucks’ part I’d like to believe Cubicle 17’s review is the truth. However, in this case I think the only truth is, that Via will either lead to the rebirth of Starbuck’s or to its demise. (I guess the stock is up, though that may not be saying much given its decimation)
I could talk about the acerbic aftertaste, how it vaguely smells of bacon, or how it feels heavy and gritty on your tongue, but my experience with Starbucks’ new line of “soluble coffee” (read: instant) can best be summed up by Gob Bluth: “I’ve made a huge mistake”.
