Unknown Mortal Orchestra - So Good at Being in Trouble
I’ve heard this described as lo-fi RnB. I think that’s close. It’s too early to tell, but this could be one to watch, to listen for really, to see if it holds up in, say, January 2014. It might, because it sounds different, hard to find any one particular point of reference. I hear hints of the Hollies, some other British invasion bands.
The record comes out Feb 5.
