Whether or not this holds up over time I can’t say, but this is inspiring. I tend to think that this kind of behavior is a function of our interconnected society, as these type of good citizen behaviors while local in execution, have a global implications as most young people, myself included struggle to understand what our future looks like without this kind of natural social philanthropy. There are no safety nets, so we’re just starting down the road of setting the ultimate safety net, which is philanthropic citizenship as a way of life, not just an activity.
