Happy Thanksgiving all. This will be my last miserable, credit related post for the day. At lunch I’m picking up a pie and brussel sprouts from the Farmers Market after which I’ll have no more tolerance for the ugliness of the coming 2009.

Making Sense on Detroit →
If you have the patience, it’s worth reading some additional truths about the “Detroit 3”. One fact to begin with - Over the most recent decade, “the capital destruction by GM has been breathtaking,” $182 billion, and Yermack estimates that the aggregate capital investment in GM and Ford since 1980 has let to a net reduction in capital of $465 billion.

According to my blog writings I am: ESTP-The Doers The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities. The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than...

Top Traders Still Expect the Cash →
Why? These guys buried their risk in their parent companies balance sheet, so why do they deserve big paydays?  If they want it, go and get it as a hedge fund guy. I just don’t get why anyone on Wall Street is going to get paid. That said, I hope that all my friends get paid what they deserve.

Everything Is Risky →
Ha, this is why I became an entrepreneur. Perhaps a bit more of a macro decision than launching an ad campaign, but still the fundamental truth holds. Risk and reward, which for some time, have been a not altogether correlated are returning to their long term correlation. Scary and enlivening.
